From the end of June to the end of July 2014, I participated in a Fulbright Summer Institute at Nottingham Trent University. For four weeks, I lived and studied with seven other students from around the United States, focusing on “Creativity, Culture, History & Heritage” in Nottinghamshire. We visited museums, examined local history, and created our own final project representing our experiences in the program. In addition to getting to know Nottingham quite well, we spent a weekend in London, took a day trip to Brighton, and spent a night in Oxford after touring Blenheim Palace. I blogged about my experience at Grace’s Notes From Nottingham.
